By experiencing my work, whether online or in person, each abstract painting invites you to explore the interplay of color through your own unique lens, making you a collaborator in bringing them to life. You can become an art collector instantly by selecting an original painting. Professional quality materials are used and my background includes a decade of working in the art materials and meeting M. Graham the man behind the paint I use. It is a walnut oil-based paint that allows me to ensure an environmentaly-safe practice. Prints (8x8 inches matted 12x12 inches) print for any of the paintings in the brushstroke poetry collection.

My work exists to share joy through color and celebrate humanity. I understand that color speaks differently to each person, shaped by their culture and lived experience. My paintings capture my personal vision of color, shape, and repeated gestural strokes creating dynamic interactions. Primary colors anchor my work, representing the harmony between body, emotion, and mind. They are expressive with my whole body in the larger works like those from the southwest dreams collection and meditative in the small works of my brushstroke poetry series.

I am fascinated by how these elements affect viewers’ well-being and how scale shapes their response. I paint without preconception, letting each piece evolve through intuitive dialogue. This demands trust and openness to change. Multiple works progress simultaneously in my studio, each one revealing themselves when they are complete. My studio practice is a journey of discovery. You will find my door open for as an extroverted artist conversations energize my creative spirit.

Commission Process
Let's Create Something Special Together

Imagine having a piece of art that speaks directly to your space and spirit. That's what we'll create together through my commission process – a journey that's both personal and exciting.

It begins with a visit to my studio, where you'll experience my work firsthand. We'll explore which paintings resonate with you, discuss the perfect spot in your home, and find the ideal size to make a statement in your space. I'll share several color palettes that could bring your vision to life. To begin our creative journey, you’ll send me a photo of where you envision displaying your new piece and down payment to secure our partnership.

Once I've completed two or three works inspired by our discussion, we'll meet at your space for the most exciting part – seeing how the paintings come alive in your environment. You'll have the opportunity to try different arrangements and select the piece that speaks to you most deeply. After I sign your chosen work and process the final payment, your painting will be ready to become part of your home. We can discuss if you are interested in framing it and schedule a time for installation in its new home.

And just like that, you've not only acquired a unique piece of art – you've become part of the collecting community, with a story and creative journey all your own.

Shall we begin?
