This solo exhibition a the Paramount Center for the Arts is the first exhibition near my hometown of Waite Park. My passion for the arts began taking numerous art classes at Apollo High School with Mr. Hummel. I basically just kept retaking the some painting elective. My work spans 30 years and am excited about the future. This exhibition will include works I created in August before leaving to Santa Fe for an artist residency and then some works following my return as create new works exploring a Santa Fe-inspired color palette. There is a total of 13 new works from works on paper to canvas.

Each year this exciting competition and exhibition brings together Artistry’s talented members. It is always a varied and eclectic collection showcasing many different mediums, styles and techniques.Every year the exhibiting artwork is selected by a prominent member of the local arts community

This year’s juror Rachel Daly, Artistry’s former Director of Visual Arts, selected my painting urban views for the exhibition.

Opening reception: November 8 6pm-8pm

With the theme, COLORBURST, artists had the opportunity to play with color in intriguing ways. Using any medium or subject matter, let color tell the story or provide the emotion. The gallery will feature two of my paintings trio together and urban perspective as part of this group exhibition.
